Location: Optimal Clinic, Dubai Studio City

Hours: Part -Time, up to 22 hours per week OR Full-Time, up to 48 hours per week.

We are currently seeking a qualified and compassionate Clinic Nurse to join our growing team and support our General Practitioner in providing exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting with clinical procedures, patient assessments, and further education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the General Practitioner with patient assessments, examinations, and treatment plans.
• Perform basic Nursing duties such as routine diagnostic checks, wound care, injections, and medication administration as directed by the Doctor.
• Obtain and record patients’ vital signs, medical history, and other pertinent information in their medical records.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available for patient appointments.
• To take an active role in health promotion, patient education, rehabilitation exercises, and self-care techniques.
• To work successfully as part of multi and interdisciplinary teams. To create excellent professional relationships with appropriate clinical and non-clinical staff including Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Podiatrists, and Nutritionists, to ensure a cohesive and integrative approach to patient care.
• Adhere to all clinic policies, procedures, and professional standards to maintain a safe and ethical environment.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements through CPD in Medicine and Nursing practices to continuously improve patient care.
• To communicate effectively with patients and/or carers appropriate complex information regarding the patient’s medical condition and inform them of the benefits and risks of suggested treatment options as per the Doctors advice.
• Provides one to one patient care.
• To ensure confidentiality on all matters relating to patients and information obtained in the course of employment in accordance with the Optimal Clinic policy.
• To use the electronic systems to enter patient data, access emails, and use IT skills when appropriate.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Nursing degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid and current registration with Dubai Health Authority and any other recognised nursing board.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in General Practice, Sports Medicine or a related field.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Commitment to a patient-centred approach and a passion for helping individuals achieve optimal health.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to accommodate patient schedules.
• Fluency in English, with proficiency in additional languages considered an asset.
