Valerie is a dedicated and compassionate physiotherapist with over 13 years of experience in the field of rehabilitation. She holds a Master’s degree in Neurophysiotherapy from the University of the Witwatersrand.
Valerie dedicated 10 years to an in-patient Rehabilitation Hospital in South Africa, treating a variety of neurological and orthopaedics conditions. Later she managed the Spinal cord injury department, which is one of her many passions. She then worked in an out-patient practice, which increased her experience in treatment and management of movement disorders.
Valerie believes in a dedicated team and holistic approach, considering all aspects of a patient’s presentation in order to help clients achieve their goals. She also believes in an active approach. Clients are challenged within a session and are responsible for continued practice at home to allow for carry over of newly learned skills.
Valerie’s passion for rehabilitation, combined with her commitment to continuous learning and personal development, drives her to provide the highest standard of care; with a focus on helping patients regain function and improving their quality of life.
